At our last session we started the Book of James. We’v covered chatper 1 verses 1-12 thus far, if you would like to catch up. We had some great discussions about mantaining joy in the midst of trials, as well as seeking godly wisdom. We look forward to our next meeing, Tuesday night at 6:00. We would love to have everyone there this week, we have yet to have the full group show up at the same time. So come on out and enjoy the fellowship and the study.
Great Meeting
We had a great meeting yesterday, thanks to everyone who came out. It was enjoyable to hear Brandon’s testimony of how Jesus had cared for him through his recent battle with cancer. It was a joy to see everyone and simply hang out.
We’re meeting again next Tuesday evening at 6:00 to start our study of the Book of James. I hope to see you all there.
It’s Launch Week
Well it’s meeting time folks. Our first session is this week at 6:00 pm. We’re having pizza and catching up. Nothing too formal, just fun and food and fellowship. So come on out and bring a friend if you’d like.
Returning September 15th!
Whether you’re an old regular from last season or a newcomer this year Growth Group at the Dunhams’ will be kicking off on September 14th and we’re planning a fun night of food, hangning out, and playing games. We’re looking forward to a good season of investing in one another’s lives, studying the Bibel and learning and growing together!
This season will be slightly different from last season. We are planning some more oppurtunities to hang out, more meals, and some service projects that I think will help us to put into practice what we learn about from studying God’s Word.
